La Luna Sangre: Chased by the vampires, episode 50 recap

Malia and Tristan's eyes rounded in surprise at the unexpected appearance of the hulk vampire. It didn't occur to them that they'd will be followed. For a moment, they sat frozen as they look at that talk, bulky and dark figure of the vampire whom are looking at them in a sinister way. It was Tristan who recovered first. He unbuckled his seatbelt and told Tony to stay inside.

Malia saw what he's going to do and tried to warn him off. “Tristan, wag ka ng bumaba!” Malia repeated called on him.

“D’yan ka lang!” Tristan shouted at her as slammed the door.

He bravely faced the bulky vampire.

“Nakita din kita.” The vampire told him with cold satisfaction.

Not bothering to answer him, Tristan launched into attack.

They began fighting an intense battle. Tristan swirled his metal rod high in the air, circling around the vampire. The vampire snarled at him and swung his fist. He evaded, sidestepped and hit him on the thigh. The momentum his stick gathered almost knocked the vampire over. In anger, Gino, the vampire gripped the metal rod and pulled hard. He punched Tristan hard in the face.

Tristan fell in the ground but quickly whirled up air to land in the paved road like a cat. Gino was waiting for him and lunged. He hit him two punches that was quickly fended off.

Tristan’s eyes widen when he saw that Tony/Malia were involved in a fight with a group of vampires.

There was haste in his movements as he turned, swirled and hit the vampire with his metal stick. The vampire were momentarily stunned when he was hit on the side of his face. Tristan didn't waste time. He jumped high in the air and kicked him in the face. The vampire landed on his back with a loud thud. And before he can recover, Tristan aimed the stick to his chest and hit him hard.

And Gino's body went into a burning ashes. Tristan looked for Tony and he immediately ran to her side.

He caught one of the vampires and struck him. Then another. And another.

Because of Tristan's help, Malia had an opportunity to breathe. Her dagger raised, her back facing Tristan's, each was providing defense to the other while facing the vampires that were circling them. Then, they attacked.

After they finished off the remaining vampires, Tristan looked at her in surprise.

Tristan couldn't comprehend the fact that Tony/Malia can battle vampires. "Bakit tuwing nagkikita tayo, may bampira?" He blurted out.

"Yun nga din ang pinagtataka ko," she returned just as swiftly. "Sa tuwing nandyan ka, bakit may bampira?"

Inside the car, while driving, Tristan told her about his father.

“Napatay ng bampira ang Tatay ko.”

Her eyes widened at that new discovery, she looked at him in a forlorn way as he continued to shot het questions.

“Eh, Ikaw, hindi ba gawa sa pangil ng lobo ang punyal mo? Matagal ka na bang lumalaban sa bampira? Anong alam mo tungkol sa kanila?”

“Bampira din ang mga pumatay sa mga magulang ko.”

At that revelation, Tristan stopped the car to look at her in an intense way. “Tony, magtulungan tayo. Pareho tayo ng ipinaglalaban. Kailangan kita.”

She was speechless at that proposition.

"Sumama ka sa grupo namin."

She was dumbfounded.

"Anong grupo?" She said slowly.

"Moon Chasers ang grupo namin."

After a moment of silent consideration, she declined the offer but promised him that if ever she'll change her mind, she’ll contact him. He had to be content with that and they continued their journey.

⟲ Outside ⟳

Meanwhile, NogNog presented himself before the Supremo and told him that he was ready to venture out in the world. Supremo looked at him coldly and offered to drive for him.

All the while, NogNog was uncomfortable inside the posh car that the Supremo was driving.

“Ano ba ang ginawa kong mali sa inyo? Bakit hindi tumitigil ang pagtra-traidor?”

“Ginawa mo akong halimaw!”

Abruptly, Supremo stopped the car on the side of the road, “bumaba ka na.”

NogNog didn’t need a second telling and stepped out post haste.

⟲ Moon Chaser HQ ⟳

Relying on the feeling of familiarity in the surroundings, NoNog was able to find the house which he was taken in that night where he was bitten by a vampire. He went inside, unknowingly leading Supremo’s other vampires too.

Inside the Moon Chaser’s headquarters, you young members were immediately went on attack mode when NogNog suddenly appeared on Professor’s side.

“Wait! Hindi ako kalaban! I’m here because I have a message from Veruska and Jethro.”

Patrick and the others didn’t gave importance on his words. But Professor T. held out his hand and motioned them to stop.

“Anong ibig mong sabihin?”

“May mensahe ako mula kay Veruska at Jethro. Bihag sila ng Supremo.” NogNog reiterated. Then, he picked the paper on his jeans pocket and gave it to the older man.

Professor T. tried to read the message but couldn’t. It was written in an old language he knew nothing about. He sighed.

“Moon Chasers! Get ready, we are going to leave immediately!” He pushed the red alert button on his mobile phone. Immediately, the group scrambled to gather their important belongings. Within minutes, they were inside the van and the house was reduced into the rubble as it sped away.

Tristan arrived home with a shining smile on his face as he accepted the warm embrace from his grandparents. He was a different man when he left and his aunt noted it.

“Wala naman, tita. Nakita ko lang kasi ang mga dating kaibigan ko at nakakilala ng bagong kaibigan.” He told her.

Betty relayed the news that Doc transfererd his home and business near their house. He was instantly joyful at that news and was about to visit him when he received a call from Piolo.

Piolo warned him off their headquarters and said that the vampires were trailing after them. He didn't have anymore information saved from the location they were driving to.

Professor T. looked at the car that was trailing after them and sighed inwardly. Nalintikan na.

“Moon Chasers, maghanda kayo. Lalaban tayo.” He calmly instructed the driver to enter a building.

Inside the building, the made a circle at the reception area. Waiting.

"Moon Chasers, isipin nyo ang mga ipinaglalaban nyo." He said to them all.

Then, the vampires appeared.

At the same time, Supremo received a report that they finally cornered the group. He smiled in satisfaction and said. "Kill them all."

La Luna Sangre: Fall in Love like its destiny, episode 49 recap

Tristan brought Malia in the corn fields. It was one of the rarest days for Tristan where he can be free from any of his responsibilities and reminisce. He told her the stories about his childhood, as recalcitrant as he was. He also told her about the little girl she met under the moon years ago before they moved out of San Isidro. He demonstrated on the moment that their little hands met and the sudden spark that flew between them

Malia knew what Tristan was talking about for she was thinking about the same thing. But she kept mum about it and didn’t voiced the same questions that was bugging him.

“I met that little girl and as our hands clasp like this,” he caught Malia’s hand and held while looking at her eyes. “And spark flew between us. The same thing happened at the night of the concert wherein Lemuel Ruiz were bitten by a vampire…”

“I believed that that girl was you.” He said to her.

Malia stared at his eyes, unable to confirm his theory.

Then, a curious expression entered his eyes,
"pero imposible eh. Hindi ba sa Maynila ka lumaki?"

Slowly she nodded. "Yes, sa Manila nga ako lumaki."

She kept her silence. But her mind was screaming. Why you, Tristan?

He looked at her with a beginning of an admiration, "tara na, baka abutin pa tayo ng gabi dito."

⟲ Nightfall ⟳

Tristan and Malia accepted Umang's invitation to hang out with him and his friends that night. One of the young men paid Malia extra attention, showing her an interest.

And Tristan watched the man's antics to get her attention and was unimpressed. Though, he kept looking at her to see her reaction.

In turn, whenever Malia looks at him and saw his unsmiling expression, she'd turn the away. All in all, it was very unenjoyable for Malia because Tristan went back to being reticent.

After a long while, Malia sat like a stone while Umang’s friends were having a whale of time drinking and singing in the Karaoke. One of his friends approached Malia and tried to cajole her into singing with him.

Getting tired with everything and with him, she refused. The young man insisted and she glared at him quietly, “hindi nga.”

He got angry and almost manhandled her to stand and join him.

"Kung hindi kayo ni Tristan, e di pwedeng maging tayo?" The young man drunkenly said in jest. She did not welcome his attention and even conveyed through her set expression that she didn't like his attention.

Tristan who were watching them from behind walked nearer and pushed him away when he became aggressive.

"Pare, lasing ka na." He said to the man. Then he turned to his friend, "Umang, yung kaibigan mo." He complained.

"Bakit? Hindi naman kayo ah." The man accused Tristan.

In anger, he collared him, dragged him to look at him straight in the eye. He looked so angry that he can kill the young man with his bare hands.

“Hindi porque hindi kami eh may karapatan ka ng bastusin siya!”

Malia looked at Tristan and at the scene that was happening. She turned away and went outside the hut.

Not long after Malia ran, Tristan went outside to look for her. He found her standing alone by the river stream, cloaked by darkness, comforted by the serenity of the nature around her.

She smiled sadly as she remembered her childhood.

Tristan approached her. His steps light and sure upon the soft earth. He stopped on her side but kept his attention to the gentle ripples of the river. Aware of his presence, she looked at him but said nothing.

In a comfortable silence, they both looked on ahead. Then, “Tony, pasencya ka na kanina ha. Nabastos ka pa tuloy.” Tristan said.

She turned to him, “wala kang kasalanan, Tristan. Hindi mo na naman kailangan na magpasencya. Ako naman ang nagpumilit na sumama sa’yo.”

She exhaled loudly as she turned her attention at the river. "Tama ka nga siguro, lapitin nga talaga ako ng gulo. Ilang beses mo na akong ipinagtatanggol." There was tenderness in her expression as she smiled at him, "salamat ha."

"Mabuti kang tao, Tristan."

“Siguro yun lang ang paraan para makabawi sa lahat ng ginawa sa akin ng Tatay ko. Kulang pa nga ‘yon. Hindi pa ako nakakabawi sa lahat-lahat ng nagawa niya sa akin. Sa lahat-lahat. Noong bata ako, hindi ko siya naiintindihan. Pero ngayon, ngayon ko lang na realize na lahat ng ginawa nya sa akin ay para patatagin ako.”

She considered him as if he was the most precious and beautiful thing that she saw, "sigurado ako na nakikita ka ng Tatay mo ngayon at natutuwa siya sa ginagawa mo ngayon."

He smiled at that. "Pero kulang pa 'yon."

It was a magical moment for them as their hearts and mind were in alignment. Tristan smiled at her a little bit more and urged her to go back for they need to drive back in Manila first thing in the morning.

“Umuwi na tayo.” He said to her. They were a special kind of camaraderie that formed between them, as if they understood each other in a more deeper level.

⟲ Rooftop ⟳

Meanwhile, Gael questioned the wisdom behind Lemuel's idea to draw the attention of the young vigilante group as they waited for hours on end without their shadows in appearance.

That night, Lemuel and Gael waited at the top floor of the building where they apparition. They waited for a long time but no one came.

They were about to leave when the young men appeared and began attacking them.

Lemuel and Gael tried to talked them out of fighting but the Moon Chasers were aggressive. Fueled by anger at the belief that vampires are all bad and the fact that their kalahi were the ones who killed Joey and the others.

Gael gave up, he shouted to Lemuel. “They are not listening to us! It’s better we leave.”

⟲ LLU HQ ⟳

The next morning, LLU gathered at the conference room and relayed what happened the night before. Gael presented them a bracelet that he was able to snatch from one of the young man they had altercation. The other looked at it with curious expression on their faces.

Jake took the bracelet, scanned it using his laptop and before long, he was able researched on the internet what the symbol in the bracelet meant. Moon Chasers. They looked at each other as Jake entered the Moon Chaser’s website.

⟲ San Isidro ⟳

Meanwhile, Malia and Tristan were driving on the highway when a vampire stepped right into their path. Tristan stopped the car before they collided with him.

And they looked with shocked expression in their faces as they both looked at the hulk-vampire.

La Luna Sangre: Childhood Memories, episode 48 recap

La Luna Sangre: Childhood Memories, episode 48 recap

As the result of Umang's wheedling and Malia's support to the former's invitation, they drove straight to Umang's house and spent the remainder of the morning there.

Someone's cooking! They began preparing the vegetables for some local dish because Umang's mother was cooking for them. Umang's friends were also in attendance and they all went gaga over Malia's beauty. They kept asking about her and if she's in a relationship with Tristan. He denied it, of course. Stating that Tony/Malia was just a friend.
.

To avoid any more questions about Tony, Tistan called his aunt Betty to inform her that he will be spending the day at San Isidro because of Umang.
.

Seeing that Tristan and Umang were busy, Malia slipped into the backyard and called her Nanay Dory. After assuring her that she's okay and will be back tomorrow, she hanged up. However, she received a call from Tristan. A call that was meant for Miyo. Immediately, she cleared her throat and assumed a lower tone of voice as she answered his call.
.

Coincidentally, while speaking to Miyo/Malia, Tristan was uncomfortable with the noise that Umang's friends were making, he went outside. However as soon as he went outside, the call was drop.
.

At the very same time, upon seeing Tristan, Malia hurriedly dropped the call and pretended speaking to another person.
.

And Tristan looked at her suspiciously but said nothing.

⟲ La Liga Unida ⟳

In between worrying, waiting and finding what happened to Malia, LLU brainstormed on the possible ways they can make contact with the vigilante group. They've been searching in social media for possible clues on the group's whereabouts and the people behind it. However, they were still in the dark while Jake was still thinking about Malia's friend.

⟲ Supremo's Den ⟳

Being a wolf, vampire can immediately smell Veruska's strong odor once she stepped out of her prison cell. So, escaping Supremo's dungeon would be a great challenge for them. NogNog thought of the group who helped him when he was bitten by a vampire. He told them that he could go back and deliver Jethro's message. Jethro agreed to write a note and stealthy gave it to him whilst delivering their food.

Meanwhile, Supremo berated his two vampires for delivering him nothing. In the end, he killed them both.
.

Myka, one of Supremo's vampires, witnessed what happened.

She relayed to Joshua what happened and told him that Supremo's set to kill them all. Even Diana, whom he trusted the most and his former lover he killed.

⟲ San Isidro ⟳

Malia volunteered to accompany Tristan as he wanted to look around his town area. While driving, Tristan saw a man waiting for them to drove past as he about to cross the street. He stopped the vehicle and called to the man that he may do so.

Malia she saw the old man crossing the street with large baskets full of vegetable produce. Acting without thinking, she asked Tristan to wait and stepped out to help the local farmer.

Watching what she was doing, Tristan's face lighten up and he began to smile. He immediately stepped out of the car and helped.
.

The farmer thanked Malia and Tristan profusely. He also smilingly declined Malia's offer of a free ride.
.

And Tristan started to melt towards her.

Eventually, they stopped by a paved road and basked at the green plains before them.

It seems as if the heavy burden that Tristan's been carrying were lifted. His face has lightened, there were smile in his eyes and satisfaction in his voice as he told her his childhood memories of the place.
.

Malia listened patiently. She was fascinated by the picture he was drawing. Then, she looked at him, "may pinagdadaanan ka ba?"

Tristan looked at her for a moment, his smile disappearing as he looked at the nature before him.

Initially, Malia thought he was not going to answer her but he sighed. "Minsan, gusto ko lang ng makahinga. Sa bigat ng pinagdadaanan natin, minsan gusto mong tumakas para kumuha ulit ng lakas."

Then, recovering his smile, Tristan launched another story about his chilhood. "Dati, ako at yung mga kaibigan ko, tumatakbo kami doon hanggang sa maisan. Naghahanap kami ng gagamba..."

At the mention of Maisan, Malia's lost her smile as she remembered her own childhood memories.
.

He looked at her and saw tears shimmering on her lovely eyes. He stopped speaking to ask her, "umiiyak ka ba?" He was concerned.

She shook her head, working hard to contain her emotions as memories of her parents and childhood washed over her. "Wala ito, naramdaman ko lang 'yung kwento mo."

Tristan continued to look at her.

She struggled still to find her composure, she smiled at him. "Ang ganda dito no?"

He nodded slowly, looking at her. "Maganda nga."

⟲ SMV Corporation ⟳

At the same time, Joshua, Myka and the remaining original subjects of Supremo were called on the SMV's roof top.
.

Myka looked at Joshua and knew that this was going to be their last day. Supremo motioned for Joshua to stepped forward.

"Joshua, sino ang nag traidor sa akin?" Supremo asked him, cool as a cucumber.

There were fear in Joshua's voice as he answered. "H-hindi po ako Supremo."

Supremo smiled. Two vampires appeared on Joshua's each side and manacled him. Myka and the others attempted to flee as they kill Joshua.

She implored to Supremo to spare her but they were all killed by a high-voltage wire that surrounded the rooftop.

Supremo watched their form burned into ashes and stated to his new-blood vampires that that's what will be waiting for them if they decided to go against him.
